The rules for using HairOn, in Q&A form. No legalese where we can avoid it.
Effective: October 2026 · Last updated: October 2026
HairOn shows you AI previews of hairstyles and other looks on your own photo. They are previews, not a promise of how a real haircut or colour will turn out. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and never use HairOn to create sexual, deceptive or illegal images. On Android, subscriptions are billed by Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. Uninstalling the app or deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. Your photos stay yours; the Privacy Policy explains how we handle them.
HairOn is operated by Muratcan Yusufoğlu, an independent developer ("we", "us"). These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and us for using the HairOn app and its AI features. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.
By downloading, opening or using HairOn, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
If you downloaded HairOn from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA) is your licence to use the app, and Apple handles your payments. The rest of these terms (your photos, AI results and acceptable use) apply to you as well. If the two ever conflict, the Standard EULA wins.
You must be at least 16. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy a subscription.
HairOn uses AI to edit a photo you choose. It can try hairstyles and hair colours on you, add a beard, makeup or glasses, make you look older or younger, retouch skin, and create similar looks. You can also describe a style in your own words.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use HairOn on devices you own or control, as long as you follow these terms.
No. HairOn has no sign-up. The app gives your device a random ID, and your history, daily allowance and subscription are tied to that ID and to the store account you paid with. On a new phone, tap Profile → Restore Purchases to bring an active subscription with you. Because there are no accounts, a subscription bought on Android can't be moved to an iPhone, or the other way round.
Results are only kept for a limited time, so save the looks you want to keep to your photo library.
You do. To create a look we need your permission to work with the photo, so you give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store it, process it and send it to our AI providers, only to produce the results you ask for. We delete the uploaded photo from our servers within 24 hours, and we never use it to train AI models. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Photos of yourself, or of someone aged 16 or over who has agreed to it, and only photos you have the right to use. Don't upload photos of children.
We don't claim ownership of the looks you create. You can save, keep and share them for any lawful purpose, as long as you respect the rights of anyone in the photo.
They are AI previews, meant to help you picture a look. They are not a guarantee of how a real haircut, colour or treatment will turn out: your hair type and density, and your stylist's work, all make a difference. The AI can also get things wrong, for example by changing details of your face or adding visual glitches.
Face-shape suggestions are cosmetic estimates, and age and skin edits are visual effects. Nothing in HairOn is professional, medical or dermatological advice.
Don't use HairOn to:
The same rules apply to anything you type, such as a custom style description. You are responsible for what you upload and for how you use and share your results.
Our AI providers run automated safety checks that may block a photo, description or result that looks like it breaks these rules. If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks them, we may suspend or end their access, and we report illegal content where the law requires us to.
HairOn is free to download and includes a limited number of free tries. A subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly, depending on what the app offers you) unlocks premium styles and features and a larger daily generation allowance. Every plan has a daily limit; none of them is unlimited.
On Android, you buy subscriptions through Google Play and pay with the payment method on your Google account. The price and billing period are shown before you confirm. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and Google Play charges you again, until you cancel.
We may sometimes offer a free trial or a discounted first period. Its length and the price that follows are shown before you confirm. Unless you cancel before the trial or introductory period ends, the subscription continues at the regular price. Google Play decides who is eligible for an offer.
In the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → HairOn → Cancel subscription. You can also tap Profile → Manage Subscription in HairOn, or go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Google has step-by-step help too.
You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Uninstalling the app, or deleting your data with Profile → Delete Account, does not cancel a subscription.
Payments on Android are processed by Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play's refund policies. You can request a refund through Google Play, or email us at myapps.feature@gmail.com: we can refund Google Play purchases, and we look at every request. Nothing in these terms takes away refund rights you have under the law where you live.
Yes. If we change a subscription's price, Google Play tells you before you are charged the new price and, where required, asks you to accept it first. You can cancel before the new price applies.
Apple bills App Store subscriptions to your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel them in Settings → your name → Subscriptions and request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's terms apply to those purchases.
We and our licensors own the app, its design and code, the style library, the sample images and videos, and the HairOn name and logo. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond the licence to use the app.
Google distributes HairOn on Android and processes payments, and Google Play's terms apply to those purchases. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for HairOn or its support; we are. Our AI providers (fal.ai and LightX) generate your looks and RevenueCat manages subscriptions, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Yes. We regularly add, change and remove features and styles, and we may adjust daily allowances. We try to keep HairOn available, but it may sometimes be offline or slow. If we ever shut HairOn down, we will stop subscription renewals and refund unused paid time where the law requires it.
We provide HairOn with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, HairOn is provided "as is": we don't promise that it will always be available, be free of errors, or produce a result you like.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by how you use or share your results. Our total liability for any claim about HairOn is limited to the amount you paid for HairOn in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Whenever you like. Cancel your subscription in Google Play first, then delete your data with Profile → Delete Account and uninstall the app.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires us to.
Sometimes, as HairOn changes. We will update the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you in the app or on this page before they take effect. If you keep using HairOn after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you don't agree with them, stop using the app and cancel your subscription.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you use HairOn as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by email.
If a court decides that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
